DRESS
Casual and Comfortable! Depending on the season you will want different attire. During the warmer summer months: For men, trousers or shorts with a T-shirt are appropriate. For women, shorts and T-shirt or a light cotton dress. A light sweater or sweatshirt is always a good idea for the evenings or for long hikes. During the winter months we recommend typical dress for cold climates. Many of our winter activities are outside, so hats and gloves are a good idea. Remember to bring comfortable shoes for walking, hiking or jogging. Also please remember that the Queen Charlotte Islands are classified as a rainforest so rain gear is always a good idea, especially if going out on fishing excursions or hiking expeditions.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
International Flights generally connect through Vancouver , B.C. to Sandspit, B.C. for Prophet Muskwa at Queen Charlotte Islands and Tlell River House. Generally, you will need an overnight stay in Vancouver on your way to see us. We recommend the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel, conveniently located inside the Vancouver Airport , the phone number for reservations is 604-207-5200.

WEATHER
You should be prepared for a wide range of weather conditions. During the summer months June - August the temperatures range from 70 F (+20 C) to lows of 20 F to 30 F (-2 C) at night. In late September and October the thermometer may drop to 10 F (-10 C) at night with a chance of some snow.
